XHTML Forms
Optional Work:
The topic of "Forms" is well outside the scope of CBTE-162. But, the chapter in our textbook gives a very good introduction to the topic of XHTML Forms; so, if you have the time, it may be worth your while to include Chapter Fourteen in your studies of web design.
Reading Assignment:
Read Chapter 14 and take the quiz. You can earn up to 5 extra credit points by taking the quiz.
Important:
The book says that you can practice "put" and "get" with their server. I tried all the exercises in Aug '07 and found that:
- The Exercise on page 595 "contest form" has been discontinued on the publisher's web site. (On their website it says the contest is closed.)
- The exercises that relate to Starbuzz Coffee order-processing on pp. 609-631 still work. Try them out.
